Strontium chloride
「Performance Characteristics」:
It is colorless and transparent crystal or granule, bitter, low toxic. It is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in carbon tetrachloride and liquid ammonia, easily deliquesces in wet air.
「Function」:
It is raw material for manufacture of strontium salts and pigment. It is used in manufacture of fireworks, glass making. metallurgy industry. It is used as co-solvent of electrolysis of metallic sodium, catalytic agent of organic synthesis, toothpaste desensitizer.
